We are happy to announce the completion and launch of our new website! The new design presents great improvements in expressing what the Conference is about, and providing organized information for potential and returning participants. Here is a short list of new features that were not present on the old site:
Please join us!
- A much expanded Teacher's List with photos, summaries and links to additional websites where you can learn more about each teacher.
- A Facilities Page detailing information about the location and accommodations for this year's Conference, complete with an image gallery of the site.
- The History Page, briefly outlining how the Conference started and has developed over the years.
- A wealth of Words - Sounds - Images offering a small taste of what the Conference holds in store! Be sure to watch the video of Coleman Barks reciting "What Was Said To The Rose", the poem that inspired this year's Conference theme.
- We've added a table of contents to the FAQ, with links that can take you directly to each question.

Appreciative words from a past attendee:
“I always feel like a kid in a candy store...feasting on a bounty of poetry, music, and friendship. There is too much to do to find time for sleep.
The GMC is nine fabulous days and nights in mytho-poetic space with poets, writers, artists, teachers,
and musicians from all over
the world.”
